Crypto Fund: Galaxy Digital Secures $113M Investment

Galaxy Digital Holdings has raised $113 million for its new cryptocurrency venture fund, Galaxy Ventures Fund I LP. This is part of their broader goal to raise $150 million for investing in early-stage crypto startups.

The fund plans to invest in about 30 projects, each receiving between $3 to $5 million. Initial investments have been made in Ethena, Monad, and Plume, showcasing their commitment to blockchain innovation.

Mike Jumppapa, a partner at Galaxy Digital, emphasized the long-term potential of blockchain technology, predicting its widespread use for transactions within the next two decades. This vision aligns with their strategy to lead the digital assets revolution.
