Grayscale reported that PEARL gained 580% over three months through Oct. 22, citing CoinGecko data. It highlighted PEARL as a project that aims to let GPUs run AI tasks while securing a blockchain, so operators could earn both AI-service payments and blockchain rewards. Grayscale’s research head cautioned that the projects’ long-term relevance depends on adoption and competitive economics.
Grayscale also highlighted DATA Network, which is building tools to turn human-contributed material into licensed AI-training datasets, and USD.AI, which offers loans secured by GPUs and associated cash flows. USD.AI describes financing of up to 80% of deployment costs, subject to credit review and eligibility; borrowers must contribute at least 20%. Participants funding the loans remain exposed to defaults, collateral losses and software failures.
