Hashed Ventures, a South Korean-based digital asset firm, has announced its expansion to Abu Dhabi. The firm is drawn by the city’s clear regulations and supportive ecosystem, aiming to introduce more South Korean companies to the region.
With over $700 million in assets under management, Hashed Ventures already has offices in Singapore and San Francisco. CEO Simon Seo-Joon Kim cited the need for global expansion due to Korea’s dwindling population and sees Abu Dhabi as a prime spot for fundraising and growth opportunities.
Abu Dhabi has distinguished itself as a web3-friendly hub, attracting significant investments and companies like Binance and OKX. The city’s Hub71 ecosystem has launched a $2 billion program to support web3 firms, further enhancing its appeal.
This expansion by Hashed Ventures underscores the strategic importance of Abu Dhabi in the global web3 and digital asset landscape.
