Binance Labs Invests in Telegram Web3 GameFi Platform

Binance Labs has invested in Pluto Studio, the GameFi platform behind the Telegram-based Web3 game Catizen. Announced on Tuesday, Binance Labs’ investment aims to fuel growth initiatives across Pluto Studio’s platform.

Specifically, the funding will enhance the development of Catizen’s mini-app and game engine, and support onboarding more developers. “This investment validates our vision and reinforces our confidence in driving the next wave of Web3 entertainment,” said Ricky Wong, co-founder of Pluto Studio.

Since its launch in March, Catizen has attracted over 25 million players on Telegram and 1.5 million on-chain gamers. It also boasts more than 500,000 paying users globally and has excelled in TON Foundation’s incentive program, The Open League.

Pluto Studio plans to release more mini-games and envisions a mini-app center combining Launchpool features, short videos, and e-commerce. The backing from Binance Labs is expected to significantly elevate Catizen and Pluto Studio’s future projects.
