Crypto investors poured $1.4 billion into digital asset products last week, capitalizing on lower market prices. Bitcoin and U.S.-led inflows, while altcoins like Ethereum saw their first positive attention since March, attracting $72 million.
This year’s investment inflows surpassed 2021’s $10.6 billion, setting new records for digital assets. The total crypto market rose 3.9%, reaching $2.4 trillion. Bitcoin surged 5.2% in 24 hours to $62,500, narrowing the gap from its March peak to 15%.
Major altcoins such as Ethereum, BNB, and Solana also experienced over 5% price increases. The market sentiment improved, with the crypto fear and greed index recovering to a neutral 52 rating.
QCP Capital researchers attributed the market uptick to Donald Trump’s failed assassination and expectations of his better election chances over Joe Biden. Exhausted selling from German authorities also played a role. This strategic shift signals growing confidence in digital assets, promising continued investment growth.
