Pi Network Price Stagnates Amid Anticipation

Pi Network’s token price has remained stagnant at $40 since March as traders await the mainnet launch anticipated for either December or January. Developers are working towards this launch, having already verified over 11 million of the required 15 million pioneers.

The Pi Network mainnet launch is contingent on three conditions: completing pioneer verification, a six-month grace period, and having at least 100 dApps. The six-month grace period began on July 1, requiring all pioneers to finish their KYC and Mainnet migration.

The Pi Coin IOU, initially launched at $343, has consolidated around $40 due to low trading volumes and lack of developer endorsement. Its thin trading volume, averaging less than $600,000 daily, doesn’t reflect the potential of the real Pi token.

As a tap-to-earn platform, Pi Network allows pioneers to earn tokens by simply tapping the app button. This model could see similar market behavior to other tap-to-earn tokens like Notcoin and Pixelverse, which experienced significant initial price volatility.

The strategic launch of the Pi Network’s mainnet aims to create broader utility and market stability, setting the stage for its long-term success in the crypto ecosystem.
