Unveiling ASI Token: Revolutionizing Digital Currency

At the end of March, Fetch.ai, SingularityNET, and Ocean Protocol announced a merger to create the new AI token, Artificial Superintelligence (ASI). The merger, set to occur in two phases starting in July, aims to unite their strengths in AI and crypto to advance toward AGI and ASI.

SingularityNET, the first decentralized AI network, Fetch.ai, a web3 AI platform, and Ocean Protocol, a decentralized data exchange, envision a robust, decentralized AI future. Unlike centralized AI development, this merger promotes a democratic and inclusive approach.

The total supply of ASI tokens will be 2.63055 billion, with different conversion rates for each token. Despite some exchanges like Coinbase not supporting automatic conversion, the migration process is designed to be user-friendly with self-custodial wallets.

The current market volatility due to external factors, such as Mt. Gox repayments and government Bitcoin sales, has impacted the prices of tokens involved. However, the strategic long-term goal is to harness collective human wisdom for unprecedented challenges in AI development.
