Protect Progress, an affiliate of the crypto-aligned Fairshake PAC, reported spending $362,000 on ads supporting incumbent Democrat Aisha Wahab against Melissa Hernandez in California’s 14th congressional district. Wahab defeated Hernandez in an August 18, 2026, special election with more than 53% of the vote. Both candidates were rated “strongly supports crypto” after completing Stand With Crypto questionnaires, and the district’s boundaries will change for the November midterms.
Another Fairshake affiliate, Defend American Jobs, reported spending more than $6.7 million to oppose Nebraska Senate candidate Dan Osborn and $8 million on media supporting Ohio Senator Jon Husted against Sherrod Brown. The source says the affiliate has spent more than $46 million in the Ohio race so far.
