Polymarket said a third-party provider had been compromised, that it had referred the matter to law enforcement, and that anyone affected would be made whole. Separately, several users claimed their accounts had lost thousands of dollars after positions were sold without their consent. The report did not establish whether those claims were connected to the outage.
