Telegram Unveils New App Store and Browser

Pavel Durov has announced that Telegram will launch a mini-app store and integrated browser by July 2024. These features will focus on Web3-enabled pages and decentralized app verification.

Telegram is enhancing security to combat crypto scams by showing the registration date and country for public accounts. Organizations can use mini-apps for issuing channel tags, fostering a decentralized verification market.

In June 2024, Telegram will introduce Telegram Stars, a new payment system for mini-apps. They will also tokenize stickers and emojis, allowing creators to earn 95% of the sales revenue. This initiative aims to make blockchain technology more accessible and secure for users.

These advancements are poised to revolutionize the cryptocurrency market, setting a new standard for digital communication platforms. Telegram’s strategic move could drive broader adoption of cryptocurrencies and decentralized technologies, shaping the future of digital interactions.
