The results may show how average USDC balances, returns on reserve assets and distribution costs affected Circle’s earnings. A quarter-end circulation figure alone cannot show average balances or explain revenue. Assets held to back USDC are separate from Circle’s operating funds and should not be treated as revenue belonging to shareholders.
