Two Tokenised Money-Market Funds Get 24/7 Trading

Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission announced on 26 October 2026 that it had approved secondary trading for two existing authorised tokenised money-market funds on a licensed virtual-asset platform. The approval covers ChinaAMC’s Hong Kong-dollar and US-dollar digital money-market funds, with trading available around the clock. It applies only to these specified products, not all tokenised investments.

Investors can trade existing units with one another outside the funds’ usual dealing window, but market prices may differ from net asset value and liquidity depends on buyers, sellers and market makers. The regulator said it would monitor trading and consider whether to expand the eligible products.
