An Ipsos survey for the DeFi Education Fund found that 13% of U.S. adults said it was extremely or very important for candidates to support emerging financial technologies such as crypto and DeFi. A broader position—encouraging financial technology builders to work in the U.S.—ranked highest: 35% called it very important, including 45% of Republicans and 30% of Democrats.
The survey polled 1,545 adults from Sept. 8 to 16 and had a margin of error of plus or minus 2.8 percentage points; party figures include independents who lean toward a party. Separately, crypto groups spent about $176 million across more than 100 midterm races, according to a Reuters review.
