SK Hynix reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of 104.6 trillion won, up 328% from a year earlier, and operating profit of 83.3 trillion won, up 632%. Its operating margin was 80%, but net income fell 58% from the second quarter to 39.8 trillion won; the company attributed the gap to non-operating expenses, including currency and investment valuation losses.
SK Hynix expects memory demand to exceed supply through 2030 and says its DRAM and high-bandwidth memory volumes through 2029 are effectively sold out. It said agreements with 14 key customers cover more than 50% of its 2027 and 2028 production capacity. The company expects weaker demand from PC and smartphone makers because of higher memory prices and tight supply, but says AI infrastructure demand should offset the decline.
