The U.S. Treasury sanctioned four people and 41 entities it says support Prince Group, a Cambodian conglomerate accused of using trafficked workers in crypto investment and romance scams. Treasury said the targets include companies and people that helped Prince Group executives conceal assets and evade sanctions imposed in October 2025 and June 2026. Prince Group has denied the allegations.
The targets include companies in the British Virgin Islands and Hong Kong, as well as the wife of a Prince Group executive who Treasury says received his Tokyo mansion after the October 2025 sanctions. Separately, Treasury sanctioned a Malaysian man it said led a Madagascar-based scam network that defrauded Americans of more than $400,000 using crypto and other technologies.
