Ferrari will begin accepting cryptocurrency payments in Europe by the end of July 2024. This follows a successful rollout in the United States that began in 2023.
The Italian carmaker partnered with BitPay to facilitate crypto transactions, allowing payments in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDC. BitPay converts these payments to fiat currency instantly, protecting dealers from price volatility and eliminating transaction fees for customers.
This initiative could extend to other regions where cryptocurrency is legal, such as El Salvador and Canada. Ferrari’s adoption of crypto payments marks a significant milestone for digital assets in mainstream commerce.
