EU Entity Hit by $106M Crypto Theft

An unnamed EU entity is suspected of losing more than $106 million from several centralized exchange accounts on November 1, onchain investigator ZachXBT said. He said the funds were withdrawn as USDC and USDT, then moved through swaps, instant exchanges and multiple blockchains; some were converted to Monero.

ZachXBT said the attacker remains unidentified, but he was highly confident it was not North Korea’s Lazarus Group. It is unclear whether any of the funds have been frozen.
