Moscow Exchange Plans December Crypto Trading Launch

Moscow Exchange plans to begin cryptocurrency trading on December 1 under Russia’s new regulatory framework. It was testing the service with professional traders, according to senior managing director Boris Blokhin, who said testing would continue until launch. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP and TRON are expected to be the first supported cryptocurrencies.

Under the framework, unqualified investors can buy only Bitcoin, Ethereum and Tether, up to 300,000 rubles per year. Qualified investors can buy any cryptocurrency on the platform or over the counter, with no amount limit.
