The Aptos Foundation has proposed deploying Aave V3 on the Aptos mainnet. The proposal is currently in the “temperature check” stage, seeking community feedback.
This marks a milestone as Aave V3’s first non-EVM deployment, potentially expanding its user base and integrations. The integration code is already live on the Aptos testnet, with the Aptos Foundation planning to integrate ChainLink’s Price Feeds and Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) next.
Deploying Aave V3 on Aptos offers significant benefits, including high transaction throughput of up to 30,000 TPS, enhanced security, and cost efficiency. Aptos also brings experience from projects like Meta’s Diem, promising robust support.
This deployment could drive market share growth for Aave, especially in the Asia-Pacific region and Korea. Additionally, Aptos will incentivize the program with up to 2 million APT in liquidity mining and rewards.
Strategically, this move enhances Aave’s presence in the DeFi ecosystem, offering long-term growth and new revenue opportunities.
