THORChain restored trading on most of its listed external networks after a halt linked to an Ethereum block reorganization. Its status page marked trading and transaction signing “OK” on 10 of 13 networks; BNB Smart Chain, Cosmos Hub and Solana still showed warnings for both. RUNE was trading around $0.64, up about 15% over the previous 24 hours, according to CoinMarketCap.
According to THORChain’s account, the reorganization removed a 10 Ether deposit the protocol had already credited. A failed swap then led to a refund from funds its vault had not received, while the sender’s deposit was also refunded, producing an extra 10 ETH payout and triggering an automatic pause.
