BitMine Expands Ethereum Holdings with Recent Purchase
- BitMine Immersion Technologies acquired an additional 53,501 Ethereum, increasing total holdings to 5,901,112 ETH as of August 30.
- The recent purchase raised the value of BitMine’s ETH position to approximately $14.8 billion at a price of $2,511 per token.
- These holdings represent about 4.9% of Ethereum’s total supply of 120.7 million tokens.
- BitMine has consistently purchased ETH for the past 65 weeks, starting on June 30, and also holds 211 Bitcoin.
- The company has staked 5,067,309 ETH, projecting annualized staking revenue of around $335 million.
- As of August, BitMine’s total treasury value is estimated at $15.6 billion, making it the largest corporate treasury for Ethereum.
