Ethereum ETFs Surge Amid Grayscale Outflows

Ethereum-based Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) have launched on major stock exchanges, marking a significant milestone for crypto investments. Over the first three days of trading, Ethereum ETFs have shown mixed but promising results.

Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas noted that while Grayscale’s Ether ETF (ETHE) experienced outflows exceeding $1.5 billion, other Ethereum ETFs like BlackRock’s ETHA and Fidelity’s FETH saw healthy inflows of $72.9 million and $34.3 million respectively. Bitwise Ether ETF (ETHW) also attracted $17 million during its NYSE debut.

Despite Grayscale’s outflows, Ethereum ETFs are gaining traction, suggesting long-term potential. Deribit data shows optimism in the broader Ethereum market, with a put-call ratio of 0.46 indicating a dominance of purchase options. Ethereum’s price increased by 3.07% to $3,265.99, with a market cap of $392.6 billion and a 24-hour trading volume of $18 billion.

As Ethereum ETFs evolve, their performance and growing interest could significantly impact the broader cryptocurrency market.
