Ethereum to Reach $22,000 by 2030: VanEck Forecast

VanEck predicts Ethereum (ETH) will be worth $22,000 per token by 2030, according to a June 5 analysis by its Digital Assets Research team led by Matthew Sigel. The firm attributes this forecast to Ethereum’s growing role in both traditional and crypto-focused portfolios.

The analysis highlights Ethereum’s potential to disrupt financial sectors and Big Tech platforms, supported by its 20 million monthly active users and $4 trillion annual settlement value. VanEck’s model forecasts $66 billion in free cash flows by 2030, supporting a $2.2 trillion market cap and a $22,000 ETH price.

Ethereum’s robust use cases, including being termed “digital oil” and “programmable money,” set it apart. It offers cost-saving features and better interconnectivity, with $3.4 billion in revenue last year surpassing some web2 apps.

However, risks include speculative reliance, regulatory changes, and competition from emerging technologies like Solana. Despite these risks, Ethereum’s potential to redefine digital finance makes it a revolutionary asset.
