The UAE Ministry of Interior said a three-month operation involving 30 countries thwarted more than 123.71 million online fraud attempts and led to over 960 arrests. It said authorities identified 3,500 suspects and 15,000 victims, blocked more than 4,000 bank accounts and raided 29 fraud centers.
The ministry said the operation identified more than $39 billion in fraud-linked digital assets that were being seized and recovered; it did not say that recovery was complete. It also said tokenized assets were used to secure $12 billion in financial transactions.
