Who Will Win Crypto’s Regulatory Race?

WhiteBIT Group founder Volodymyr Nosov argues that the EU’s MiCA framework gives crypto companies access to 27 EU markets through a license issued in one member country. He says the benefit comes with high compliance costs, while differences in national supervision may encourage companies to seek less stringent regulators.

Nosov says the US offers access to a large capital market but still lacks a single clear framework for crypto businesses. He describes Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai as distinct regulatory hubs, not a unified market; expanding across them requires local licenses. These are his assessments in an opinion editorial, not reported outcomes for companies operating in those markets.
