German telecom giant Deutsche Telekom MMS has partnered with Subsquid to enhance its decentralized data lake by running nodes. The collaboration, announced Wednesday, sees Deutsche Telekom’s subsidiary contributing its infrastructure since earlier this summer.
Dirk Röder, head of Deutsche Telekom’s web3 infrastructure, praised Subsquid as a “game-changer for web3,” emphasizing its ability to make blockchain data accessible and usable. Röder highlighted the security and scalability provided by their enterprise-grade setup.
Subsquid co-founder Marcel Fohrmann noted that the partnership adds legitimacy and security to their network and the broader blockchain ecosystem. Deutsche Telekom also runs validators for Polygon, Ethereum, and Polkadot, while Subsquid continues to expand its blockchain data solutions.
This strategic partnership is key to advancing blockchain technology, improving data accessibility, and reducing retrieval costs.
