Stablecoin Growth Boosts Circle’s Bullish Outlook

JPMorgan Upgrades Circle’s Rating Amid Stablecoin Growth

  • JPMorgan analysts upgraded Circle’s rating to “Overweight,” raising the price target to $100 from $94 per share.
  • Circle’s third-quarter results exceeded expectations, prompting a revised price target for year-end 2026.
  • Circle’s USDC reserves reached $9.1 billion by the end of Q3, up from $1.1 billion last year.
  • Approximately 160 million Circle shares became tradable recently, increasing the share float from a previous count of around 50 million.
  • Visa and other major firms have shown interest in Circle’s Arc network, which is currently in the testnet phase.

JPMorgan analysts highlighted improving fundamentals at Circle, leading to an upgraded stock rating and increased price target due to better-than-expected third-quarter results and growing partnerships for its layer-1 blockchain network Arc.

Despite increased competition from new stablecoin entrants, Circle’s strategic partnerships are expected to bolster USDC adoption and enhance margins as regulatory compliance becomes more crucial in the market landscape.
