Dogecoin Labs announced its formation in partnership with the Dogecoin Foundation, bringing the MyDoge wallet, DogeOS platform and Such App payments service into one independent organization. The foundation will continue to oversee the broader ecosystem and support open-source development.
Dogecoin Labs aims to expand DOGE use in payments, commerce, DeFi, gaming and other applications. DogeOS has launched a public testnet, while Such App’s payment platform is in beta; connecting Such App with DogeOS is still planned. MyDoge has more than 500,000 users, according to the company.
