C2FO and Ripple announced plans on Oct. 27 to bring C2FO Instant Pay financing and settlement onto the XRP Ledger, using Ripple USD as the settlement asset. The product is set for a limited rollout over the coming months and will be available only in the U.S. at launch.
Participating capital providers will fund early payments on approved supplier invoices, while agreed invoice terms and due dates remain unchanged. Ripple said ledger payments would settle in three to five seconds; C2FO said suppliers would receive money in their bank accounts within minutes after an invoice is confirmed for early payment.
