Robinhood and Ripple announced a partnership on Oct. 27 that could bring Ripple’s dollar-backed stablecoin, RLUSD, to retail customers in the Robinhood app. App access is planned, not yet available. RLUSD is already live on Robinhood Chain and Bitstamp by Robinhood.
Robinhood also plans to use RLUSD on the XRP Ledger for institutional settlement through Bitstamp’s institutional business. It plans to integrate Ripple Treasury for global financial operations, including cash management, forecasting and payments.
