XRP Ledger validators backed the fixCleanup3_4_0 amendment by 33 votes out of 35, above the 80% support needed for activation, but the fix had not yet gone live. It was initially expected to activate on Oct. 23, before its two-week countdown restarted on Oct. 21.
The fix addresses a flaw that can let a delegate with PaymentBurn permission mint certain tokens instead of only burning them. XRPL documentation advises users not to delegate that permission until the fix is enabled; other permissions are unaffected.
