Solana’s team is gearing up for the v1.18.15 mainnet upgrade, scheduled for June 10, 2024. This update aims to alleviate congestion issues caused by the high demand for Solana-based meme coins.
The v1.18.15 release will introduce several key changes, including certificate authority (ca) certificates for the docker image, bug fixes, and scheduler optimization. Validators are advised to upgrade when less than 5% of the stake is delinquent and to report any issues during the update.
Currently, Solana (SOL) trades at $159.62, with a recent 1% price increase. Analysts believe SOL could surge to $210 and potentially reach $250, nearing its all-time high of $260.06, driven by this upgrade and favorable market conditions.
