Firedancer charges 1 SOL for duplicate reports

Jump Crypto’s Firedancer bug bounty requires researchers to burn 1 SOL to qualify for payment under terms effective Oct. 18, 2026. The burn is non-refundable even if a report identifies a real bug that someone else submitted first. Reports without a burn may be reviewed but cannot receive a bounty.

The terms generally reward the first report of an issue or similar variant, though later reports can receive discretionary rewards. That is narrower than Firedancer’s April–May 2026 audit contest, which allowed rewards for duplicate reports of unfixed bugs. Eligible findings receive double the standard payout through Nov. 20, 2026, or triple for Alpenglow consensus findings; that deadline ends the boost, not the bounty.
