RippleX opened the XRP Ledger’s LendingProtocolV1_1 amendment for validator voting on September 30, 2026. The amendment has not been activated; it must activate before the LendingProtocol and SingleAssetVault amendments can proceed, and those amendments must be approved before lending can launch on the mainnet.
The proposal would add closed-ended vaults, which stop issuing new shares after a subscription period, and recognize loan interest as income only when payments are made.
