Binance to List Ripple USD Stablecoin with Zero Trading Fees
- Binance will add Ripple USD (RLUSD) to its platform, starting trading on January 22.
- RLUSD is a US dollar–backed stablecoin launched in late 2024 by a subsidiary of Ripple Labs, with a market cap exceeding $1.4 billion.
- The exchange will offer three spot pairs: RLUSD/USDT, RLUSD/U, and XRP/RLUSD, with deposits open before trading and withdrawals from January 23.
- Trading fees for RLUSD/USDT and RLUSD/U pairs will be waived as part of a promotional campaign.
- Initially supported on Ethereum, RLUSD will later be compatible with the XRP Ledger.
Binance’s listing of RLUSD highlights its expanding stablecoin offerings and commitment to fostering an open financial infrastructure. The launch includes fee waivers for certain pairs and initial support on Ethereum, enhancing accessibility for users.
