VeChain co-founder and CEO Sunny Lu said AI agents could drive blockchain adoption by creating demand for systems that verify their identities and reputations. Discussing VeChain’s agent-building platform VeWorld.ai, he proposed digital “passports” for agents and a decentralized system to track their reputations and those of their creators. Smart contracts could help settle transactions involving agents, he said.
Lu also said agent-building tools could help people turn expertise into services without learning to program. Separately, Animoca Brands chairman Yat Siu warned that people using AI agents for crypto trading risk relying on services they do not control.
