VeChain co-founder and CEO Sunny Lu said AI agents could drive blockchain adoption by creating demand for ways to verify their identities and reputations. He argued that agents operating around the clock would need an accountability system to earn public trust, and proposed blockchain-based digital “passports” and reputation tracking. He described this as a vision while discussing VeWorld.ai, VeChain’s agent-building platform.
Lu also said agent-building tools could help people without programming skills turn their expertise into services. Separately, Animoca Brands chairman Yat Siu warned that people using AI agents for crypto trading risk relying on providers they do not control.
