Squads Labs has launched Fuse, the first smart wallet on the Solana blockchain, now available on iOS via TestFlight. This milestone was announced in a blog post on Monday by the core contributor of Squads Protocol.
Fuse offers a novel approach to crypto asset management by using smart accounts, making it the first wallet of its kind for Solana users. It features dual-layered security with two primary keys: an Apple biometric-secured “Device Key” and a “2FA Key” for two-factor authentication, reducing single points of failure.
Additionally, Squads Labs secured $10 million in funding led by Electric Capital, bringing their total to $22.5 million. This funding will support further development of Fuse and other SVM-compatible products.
The introduction of Fuse represents a significant leap in crypto wallet security and functionality, setting a new standard for user asset management on the Solana blockchain.
