Intersect said the refreshed Dijkstra testnet became public on October 21, 2026, giving Cardano developers and pool operators an environment to prepare for the upgrade. The testnet still runs Conway protocol version 11 with node 11.1.3; it has not switched to Dijkstra’s new protocol rules.
That transition requires a later node 11.2 prerelease and a hard-fork initiation action through testnet governance. The public testnet does not set a mainnet activation date or establish that every proposed feature is running.
