Cosmos contributors said in an October 29 quarterly update that research on ATOM’s economics is ready to be developed into a public review process. The details have not yet been presented to governance, and the announcement does not establish a new issuance rule, a completed vote or guaranteed future token revenue.
Contributors plan to bring forward separate proposals on issuance, longer-term staking incentives and a mechanism for future Hub revenue to enter the reward cycle. They expect to publish process information around November 20 and begin reviews in early December, subject to further preparation and community discussion.
