Investors withdrew $635.49 million from U.S. bitcoin ETFs on Thursday, erasing nearly 60% of the $1.08 billion the funds had gained over the previous three sessions. BlackRock’s IBIT and Fidelity’s FBTC accounted for about 74% of the withdrawals. Despite the reversal, bitcoin ETF flows remained positive by $442.67 million for the week, while month-to-date flows showed a $174.50 million deficit.
Ether ETFs also reversed course, recording $110.50 million in withdrawals after a $14.96 million inflow on Wednesday. Bitcoin fell below $81,000 on Thursday, but the source does not establish that the price move caused the ETF withdrawals.
