Bitcoin Faces $78K Risk Amid Selling Pressure

Bitcoin traded near $80,500 in an analysis using charts dated Oct. 24, 2026. About ten of 15 moving-average readings pointed lower, but nine of 11 oscillators were neutral, so the indicators did not uniformly confirm a sharper decline.

The analysis identified roughly $80,351 as support on Bitstamp’s hourly chart, while a broader market snapshot put the 24-hour low near $80,409; these were separate readings, not a confirmed single floor. A break below support could put $80,000 in focus. A sustained move above $82,000 would begin to challenge the bearish chart pattern, while longer-term moving averages remained below the price.
