Bitcoin rebounds from $76K amid ETF outflows

Bitcoin fell from above $78,000 to an intraday low of $76,268 on Tuesday, then briefly topped $77,700 before losing momentum. It was trading near $77,660 when the report was written, up about 0.3% over the previous day. The source linked the volatile session to uncertainty over U.S. midterm elections and reports of renewed U.S.-Iranian military exchanges; those reports did not establish what caused the price moves.

Bitcoin liquidations rose from $69 million about 24 hours earlier to $96 million, while liquidations across the broader crypto market exceeded $365 million. U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs had recorded about $400 million in net outflows the previous day. SwapSpace CEO Evan Ceolini said investors are increasingly aware of long-term quantum-computing risks, but there is no clear evidence of a measurable discount for those risks in bitcoin’s price.
