Cryptoquant founder Ki Young Ju said on Oct. 21 that rising bitcoin realized capitalization points to fresh capital flowing into the market, a pattern he associates with bull markets. His chart shows the measure rising in earlier rallies and in its latest segment, but transfers between a holder’s own wallets can also affect it. Realized capitalization values each coin at the price when it last moved on the blockchain, rather than at its current market price.
