Datavault AI disclosed on Oct. 26 that it had been unable to withdraw bitcoin from the Biconomy exchange since June 2026. It says about 817.6 BTC, worth roughly $66 million at current prices, remains in the account. Its filing does not explain why the withdrawal failed, and neither company has made another public statement on the matter.
Datavault says the bitcoin reached its Biconomy account through an internal exchange transfer, so the transfer was not recorded on the Bitcoin blockchain and Datavault never held the private keys. Because it could not prove control of the bitcoin, the company says it must correct four financial reports and has told investors not to rely on them. Under the revised accounting treatment, Scilex is treated as owing Datavault money, but Datavault says it is unsure whether it can recover it.
