SpaceX Earnings Rise; Bitcoin Holdings Steady

SpaceX reported third-quarter earnings on Oct. 20, 2026, with revenue up 161% from a year earlier to $14.6 billion and a $4.4 billion profit, compared with a $1.1 billion loss a year earlier. Its Super Intelligence division brought in $7.56 billion, surpassing Starlink as its largest source of revenue.

SpaceX listed $1.573 billion in digital assets as of Sept. 30, 2026, down $64 million from the end of 2025. The quarterly release did not identify those assets as bitcoin or state how many coins it held; earlier filings put its holdings at 18,712 BTC. Its cash flow statement recorded a $64 million unrealized loss on digital assets in the first nine months of 2026, but the earnings materials did not indicate whether SpaceX bought or sold any.
