Recently, several dormant Bitcoin (BTC) addresses have reactivated, raising concerns among crypto enthusiasts. Notably, a Bitcoin address containing 43 BTC, worth around $2.5 million, was reactivated after 10.4 years.
In mid-March, Bitcoin hit an all-time high of over $73,000 but has since seen a steady decline, now trading at $59,627.62. Two whale addresses, dormant for over a decade, also came alive in May, each holding 500 BTC.
In June, a 5.5-year dormant address transferred 8,000 BTC to Binance, worth about $535 million. Additionally, a Satoshi-era miner wallet moved 50 BTC to Binance after 14 years of dormancy.
Crypto liquidations have surged, with $162.22 million in assets liquidated recently. The reactivation of dormant addresses marks significant movements in the crypto market, highlighting potential market shifts.
