Crypto Inflows Surge: Bitcoin, Ethereum Lead

Last week, the digital assets market recorded a significant inflow of $1.43 billion, with Bitcoin leading at $1.34 billion. Ethereum also saw its highest weekly inflow since March, reaching $72 million. This surge has sparked discussions on whether this trend signifies a sustained bull run for the crypto market.

Despite these impressive inflows, trading volumes were relatively low, at $8.9 billion, compared to the seven-day average of $21 billion for the year. Alongside Bitcoin and Ethereum, altcoins like Solana, Avalanche, Chainlink, and XRP also saw notable inflows of $4.4 million, $2 million, $1.3 million, and $1 million, respectively.

The US dominated regional inflows, contributing $1.3 billion, with Switzerland, Hong Kong, and Canada also showing strong inflow figures. The inflows into Bitcoin were driven by various factors, including the German government’s Bitcoin sales and positive shifts in sentiment due to lower-than-expected CPI data in the U.S.

Investors are optimistic about the crypto market’s future, especially with the anticipated approval of a Spot Ethereum ETF in the U.S. However, market participants should remain cautious of potential regulatory changes and market volatility. Analysts suggest that Bitcoin may have already reached its bottom, setting a foundation for future growth.
