On Aug. 1, spot Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the U.S. experienced joint positive inflows for the first time since the launch of nine spot Ether ETFs on July 23.
Bitcoin ETFs saw inflows of $50.6 million, led by Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust with $191.1 million. Despite Grayscale’s GBTC experiencing $71.3 million in outflows, the total daily trading volume for Bitcoin ETFs reached $2.91 billion, significantly higher than earlier in the week.
Ethereum ETFs recorded positive inflows of $26.7 million, despite Grayscale’s Ethereum Trust outflows exceeding $2 billion. Fidelity’s FETH and Bitwise’s ETHW contributed $11.7 million and $3.4 million, respectively.
These inflows mark a significant milestone, indicating growing investor confidence in both Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs. This trend could signal a positive shift in the crypto market’s long-term dynamics.
