On July 12, spot Bitcoin (BTC) exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw a remarkable surge, with inflows surpassing $310 million—the highest since June 5. The VanEck Bitcoin Trust ETF and Invesco Galaxy Bitcoin ETF recorded inflows of $6.56 million and $4.03 million, respectively, while other ETFs saw no inflows.
This marks the largest inflow since June 5, when spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted over $488 million. Notably, U.S.-based spot Bitcoin ETFs now hold an all-time high of 888,607 BTC coins. Since their launch earlier this year, these ETFs have garnered nearly $16 billion in net inflows, despite $18.6 billion outflowing from GBTC since its transition to a spot ETF.
Despite reduced trading volumes, Bitcoin’s price rose by 2.4% to $58,543. The significant inflows underscore the growing interest and strategic importance of Bitcoin ETFs in the cryptocurrency market.
